Morning After
by jeff on Feb.10, 2010, under Site News
Thank you all for the comments and I know Carrie and Kevin will enjoy reading them and knowing how many friends are praying for them. Carrie looks great this morning and may be released by midday. She still has not been able to see Kevin and it is driving her crazy. They should have her walking soon and she will be able to come to Kevin’s room. He is doing well, making urine and his initial lab work looks good. He was in considerable pain this morning but both the surgeons have been in and they are working on the right drugs to control it. They also told him that they would like to see him up this afternoon and into a chair at least. They got the same look that I get when I try to get him out of bed before noon. We are off to a great start and pray that with each day this kidney becomes more comfortable in its new home. Lots of monitoring to go, checking blood, measuring urine, and healing but we all feel that God has brought us to this place, at this time, and will see us through. I am blessed by how many friends our family has. Thank you. Jeff.
