Carrie was up and visited Kevin for the first time. She is doing great and will be released after lunch. Kevin has the button so he can activate his pain medication himself and is doing better. Getting some much needed sleep. Transplant team was by and pleased by how his new kidney is working. Have I mentioned how proud I am of them both. Jason, if you are reading this from Italy, I am proud of you too except for the time you blew up our mailbox and drove the golf cart through the garage door. I’m over that.

I was hoping I could get the name of the Dr that gave Kevin the iv. I would like one of those buttons too. Especially after a long Saturday night. Hope your proud of me too but not in the same way you are of Jason! Ha ha. But seriously glad everything is going well. And Jeff tell the female Byron over there to keep on preaching.

I am so proud of you. Jeff I think you might have had the toughest role in this. I must say you have great potential as a writer. So glad this is done, and everyone is now in the recovery and healing mode. Thanks for walking by faith Jeff when things got solely on you and the Lord for awhile. I’ll pay for the pain, for Kevin’s body in its adjustments, wisdom for Doctors, and peace and joy for you all.

Wow…. the love that you guys have for each other is pouring thru the internet. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see Carrie with Kevin today. The emotions amongst you all must have been higher than heaven! Good Job Jeff!

We are so excited that things are going smoothly. Can’t believe Carrie will be going home already although I am sure she doesn’t mind one bit. Jeff, again I am so pleased with your assignment in all this because I honestly laugh just about every time I read an entry. I would have loved to have seen the first greeting after the transplant….between Mother and Son……the love was oozing, I am sure. Jeff, you are one brave and strong man…I love your humor too

Heffa’ Horhey’…..you are cracken’ me up. Alright you peeps, glad to see Kev has a the wonderful button to give him some independence in his pain levels.
I too am proud of all of you. I think its almost harder to stand by as the family member making the posts. The button you push is the door bell to the throne room.
